Electra’s CEO noted with publication of the company’s results for the third quarter of 2009 that Electra has had an advantage over many of its competitors ever since the start of the global economic crisis. According to him, the company’s backload of orders now stands at NIS 4 billion, ensuring that it will have significant work for the next two years. Electra ended the quarter with a net profit of NIS 23.3 million for its ongoing activities in comparison with NIS 19.7 million for the same quarter last year. In the real state ventures sector, Electra operates through its subsidiary Electra Investments. During the quarter, the company invested NIS 120 million in projects in Israel and another NIS 449 million abroad.
