Project Description:
Plant for the production of the pharmaceuticals.
In 2005, the industrial project branch completed the NIS 40 million air conditioning and ventilation systems in the Taro pharmaceutical plant in the gulf of Haifa.
The project included air conditioning systems, ventilation and suction for sterile labs and clean production rooms, packaging areas, a 30 meter-high automatic warehouse, public spaces and offices.
The pictures show the roof-top energy center based on integration of water cooling systems with heat restoration and water cooling/heating units. The cold and hot water for the air conditioning equipment in the building was supplied by a plumbing system and large secondary pumps (see picture).
The project also included separate systems for suction and filtering of dust produced by the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, shelf suction systems, smoke suction systems and more.
Production rooms are air conditioned by large air treatment units (about 14 meters long, 4 meters high, and 4 meters wide each), which deliver treated and filtered air into tunnels, with electric shelves that regulate the amounts supplied to each area.
Production rooms are fully monitored by a central control system, including measurements of temperature, humidity, pressure, digital display of the data in the room, audio and visual notification systems for any diversion from required climate conditions, alarms for clogged filters, contamination monitoring, etc.
