Environmental Responsibility

F.K. Electra's Environmental Responsibility Policy is constantly refined and adapted to reflect the latest environmental practices and technologies in the field.

Under the F.K. Electra Environmental Responsibility Policy, we promote the use of eco-friendly fuels and equipment. In addition, F.K. Electra is constantly pursuing efficient power generation and makes every effort to reduce air, land, and noise pollution.

For each project, F.K. Electra establishes a management system suited to the nature and scope of that specific project and its environmental risks and impacts. Within the framework of this management system, F.K. Electra prepares an environmental assessment, including an examination of all aspects impacted by the different stages of the project's lifecycle. F.K. Electra prepares a management plan and determines how environmental issues will be monitored and reported. Where local communities may be affected by risks or adverse impacts of a project, the community engagement process also includes consultation with the relevant communities.

F.K. Electra applies pollution prevention and reduction practices, and promotes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions throughout the design, construction, operation, and completion of a project, as well as the takedown of any temporary generators. The company makes every effort to minimize or prevent the release of pollutants, as well as the generation of hazardous waste and other materials.
