    Background

Adgar is a prominent developer active in the Israeli and international markets, and serves as the real estate arm of the Zur Shamir Group. The Adgar 360° tower, at the heart of the Tel Aviv business and financial district, was intended to serve as the company’s headquarters while reflecting Adgar’s commitment to efficient operation, energy-saving initiatives, and a reduced carbon footprint. Electra Building was brought in to achieve these goals, with Electra Construction serving as the general contractor.

    Our Activities

The nature of this project required the addition of 20 floors above the existing 17-story Ministry of Education building, which had to remain active throughout the three-year construction period. This required careful planning and cooperation on the part of all the participating Electra Building companies.

Electra M&E performed all work in the project related to electromechanical systems. This included the need to relocate the energy centers from the current Ministry of Education rooftop and reconstruct them for the new tower, while ensuring continuity of service for all building functions during the project.

Electra Elevators provided seven new elevators to serve the tower in its new configuration, with added floors. Four of these are spectacular 6 m/s panoramic elevators featuring a unique design and transparent shafts, offering employees and visitors a breathtaking view of the surrounding cityscape.

Alimak also supplied and installed a state-of-the-art BMU system that serves all maintenance, cleaning, and repair needs involving the building’s exterior facade.

FK Electra supplied the tower with two 2,000 kVA units, one for the tower itself and one for the data center located within it.
