Rotary UPS Systems

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems provide emergency near-instantaneous power when an input power source fails.

UPS systems are typically used to protect data centers and telecommunication equipment, or where power disruptions may cause injuries, data loss or other damage. UPS systems are also capable of correcting utility power problems, such as voltage spikes and momentary reductions in input voltage.

F.K. Electra is the official representative of the Dutch company Hitec Power Protection, specializing in rotary UPS systems.

Rotary UPS systems, which use a spinning flywheel to provide instant short-term power, improve the quality of electricity provided to customers, promoting enhanced power reliability. Rotary UPS systems generate electricity at capacities ranging from 400 kVA to 3500 kVA.

F.K. Electra's rotary UPS systems offer many features and significant benefits, including:

  • Robust, compact, proven technology
  • No reduction in energy storage over time
  • Power quality
  • Highest level of downtime protection
  • Resistant to environmental temperature changes
  • Simple system – comprised of a limited number of parts
